For my last stamp club I revisited a technique that I had shown a couple years ago. My club has changed so much it is time to bring back some of the old techniques. This is the shaving cream technique. I t gives a beautiful background and is so easy to do.
For my last stamp club I revisited a technique that I had shown a couple years ago. My club has changed so much it is time to bring back some of the old techniques. This is the shaving cream technique. I t gives a beautiful background and is so easy to do. Put a layer of the foam shaving cream in a pie plate about 1/2 in thick. Drop in a few drops of re-inker and swirl it with a knife. Lay your cardstock face down in the shaving cream making sure it is well covered. Pull it up scrap the shaving cream off with a spatula and the wipe gentlly with a paper towel. Let dry for a bit and then you can stamp directly over the shaving cream design or us as a background.
This was a big hit with my girls.
