Would you like more colors in the Linen ablums?
Well look no further. You can have any one of SU's 48 colors plus the in colors. This ablum started out as natural linen album, then colored with pumpkin pie. Mix equal amounts of reinker and water in a bowl. Take your ablum apart and lay it flat and use a sponge to apply the color. Let dry and sponge again to make sure the color is even. For this 12 x12 album we used 3 reinkers. We are coloring another one Blue Bayou and it is going to need 4 reinkers. It seems the darker the color the more reinker it takes. I have also colored one with perfect plum

What a great idea - I will have to remember this next time someone is looking for a different color.
This is a fantastic idea - one I never would have even considered trying. You are a brave soul!! Do you need to seal it in any manner after dying it?
Wow! I didn't know we could do this!
Super idea! I just love love love pumpkin pie ink!
This is a wonderful idea!! Great job sweetie!!
Man, I'd be SO scared to do this....I knew you could but what if it went terribly wrong? Thanks so much for sharing this!
FABULOUS!! Thanks for sharing your brilliant discovery :)
Wow - you are BRAVE. I think I would have been too chicken to try, in case I messed it up, lol. These are beautiful! TFS!
Thanks for sharing this very USEFUL information - like the other commenters, I probably would have been afraid to try dyeing the albums with reinkers, but they look really nice! Does the ink end up on your hands at all after the albums have dried?

No way! I love this idea. The colors to chose from are so limited, so this technique is great. I can't wait to buy a new album and try this. TFS.
This is awesome!!! Never thought we could do this!!! TFS!
BTW...I added you to my SU blogroll.
Great Idea!
